Mindfulness
Brain noise
Modern day life has changed beyond all recognition in the past fifty years or so. There is a constant stream of notifications, external stimuli vying for your attention, deadlines and endless pressures from work, social media.
There is so much "noise" constantly going on in our heads, that studies shown the average person's brain activity today is that of a schizophrenic in the 1950s.
No wonder there is a mental health epidemic.
Right here, right now
People are either stuck in the past, regretting their decisions and wishing they could have doing things differently, or they are projecting ahead to the future and worrying, stressing about what may be to come.
With Mindfulness, learn how to take control of your situation. Learn acceptance and how to have a non-judgemental approach to yourself and others. Learn how to live your life in the present and not waste time and energy trying to deal with your past and future.
The way forward
After an initial consultation, sessions are on a one to one basis, that can either be in person or via phone/video call dependant on location. These can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour long depending on your need
Group classes work really well by bringing together likeminded souls. The support of the group takes away the feelings of having to work through things alone.
Workshops and short courses can help in workplaces and within organizations.
